Most of the time, when you are looking for a dirt bike helmet, you’ll be looking for two things. It has to be safe and look good; the aggressive look is what we are attracted to most. If you are looking for something like that, you can certainly order this Helmet; you won’t regret it.
It’s DOT and ECE rated, and the shell is made of Kinetic Polymer Alloy or KPA, that’s what they call it. And it’s light, something that you rarely see in the entry-level motocross helmets. In addition, LS2 added a flex kind of energy management system that helps to absorb the rotational force. The later version of this Helmet even has MIPS technology, which is also an energy management mechanism.
Another fantastic fact about this Helmet is, of course, the ventilation; it’s one of the best-ventilated dirt bike helmets out there. LS2 says there are 35 vents in the Helmet, which is insane. Also, the peak visor is easily adjustable, and it’s stable on speed, thanks to its cutouts.
Overall, the LS2 Subverter is an excellent helmet to get, stuffed with great features, and also comes at an entry-level price point.
